Fox and Geese – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Fox and Geese (“the App”) is developed by Dr. Andreas Plagens (“we”, “us”). In short: Fox and Geese does not collect any data.

Data We Collect

None. There is no account, no sign-in and no user profile. The App contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no third-party software development kits of any kind.

Network Access

The App makes no network connections. It works identically with the device in aeroplane mode. Nothing you do in the App is transmitted anywhere, because there is nothing for it to transmit to.

What Is Stored on Your Device

  • Your game in progress, so that it can be resumed after the App is closed.
  • Your choices on the new-game screen: which side you play, who moves first, the difficulty and the number of geese.

Both are stored only on your device, in the App’s own storage. They are included in an iCloud or computer backup if you back your device up, because that is how device backups work; they are not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the App deletes both.

Beta Testing

If you install a beta version through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple may share information with us such as your email address (if you were invited by email), crash reports and any feedback you choose to send through TestFlight. This is handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy and is used only to improve the App.

Children’s Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, children included.

Changes to This Policy

If a future version of the App collects anything, this page will say so before that version is released.
